<p>I’m a Cohort 8 scholar - still relatively new! I’m so excited for you all! Like the Cohort 7 Scholar, I too just had to create an account to express my happiness for you all! </p>
<p>I remember the day I got my email from LEDA! While it was so exciting, I didn’t compulsively check my inbox leading up to the day - so worth it. During this time it’s so important to learn to busy yourself with activities so you won’t lose your head. Your LEDA application process is just like the college application process, but the college app process is much more difficult. You should feel good about getting to Part II and for knowing how to complete applications! Do not stress over getting messages a day later - things happen, you just have to have patience. </p>
<p>I hope that you all receive great news in the coming weeks! If you need some tips on what to pack, topics you might discuss, or just want to talk about your summer of fun, let me know! Even if you don’t, please feel free to inbox me any questions that you might have about going into your senior year, avoiding procrastination, contacting colleges, learning the ropes of applications, and resisting senioritis. </p>
<p>I’ll be at reunion this summer, so if you find yourself eating Heavenly Ham sandwiches on a Princeton lawn, feel free to just shout Smithie 17 and I’ll come over to you! I promise I’m not a random - I think I’m super nice. Also, congratulations to you all for nearing your final year of high school! That is a success in itself! Yay, Class of 2014!! </p>
<p>I’ve got to go figure out how to not be weird when I give a graduation speech! Again, please use me as a source. At the end of the day, we’re all on the same team. </p>
<p>@Smithie- You’re not awkward at all. Haha!! Trust me! I’m just as crazy and outgoing. Likewise, I wish you the same for your future endeavors. It’s so nice to know that I have others to fall back on during times of difficulty.</p>
<p>Too long! Haha, but I had my interview on the 9th, so about two weeks. I was pretty worried because I knew a few others on here who had their results that week. Don’t worry about it too much guys; that was my first mistake :)</p>

First and foremost, welcome to CC.
So far, I don’t see any correlation between notification and submission time.
I submitted I believe exactly 1 day before due date.
My LEDA page still works.
Right now, just keep yourself positive and don’t stress too much. It’s still a rolling admission. It’s not over yet.
By the way, I’m also from CA.</p>
<p>I also am having trouble getting in the LEDA website. There’s also a Norton potential threat icon, which is unusual. It only shows one phishing threat, but it just seems very weird to me; maybe they discovered that and are making it more secure? I don’t really know.</p>
Also, congratulations to you all for nearing your final year of high school! That is a success in itself! Yay, Class of 2014!! </p>
