How do I delete this post
I wanted to attend this program more than anything in the world. This is depressing, very depressing, but I must stay strong
I mean it is not that I thought it counted for that much more but I thought it was the primary focal point. Either way I wouldn’t change how I apply to colleges. Why? Because I am more academically focused and don’t do much extracurriculars (which I am changing this year), yet LEDA accepted me till round three which counts for something.
And yeah @gabrielamarie we need to stay strong, we have so many more opportunities than this. This has actually made me realize my affinity for science which I wouldn’t have learned as intensely as I would have wanted to, if I went to LEDA. I don’t need leadership skills, because I don’t have them. I excel with my brain, not with my voice which I have accepted. So, I am gonna use that for my future aspirations.

well im in band the math club, I take calculus and precal, and im in a bunch of honor societies… so i guess that helped @mintgreencookie
I still haven’t heard anything like at all and I don’t want to lose hope but I’m getting nervous

- Accepted but waiting on MITES decision also :( . Congrats to those accepted, looking forward to perhaps meeting yall at Princeton this summer. For those rejected, that sucks, but I'm sure as much good came out of it. The process was pretty rigorous and I'm sure you could use that essay we had to write as the foundation of your personal statement. Stay awesome!

I have a question. My friend has not heard back if he is accepted for not, but I recieved an email for booking flights and roommate saying that “Congratulations again and welcome to LEDA! We are thrilled to welcome a phenomenal group of Scholars this summer at Princeton University for our summer program.” Does this mean they have pick everyone for the program already? Also since everyone I know that got accepted received the flight booking that was due Friday already.
Rejected but most likely going to SSP :)! It all works out in the end!
