I have been absent from the conversation of this forum, but I would like to add that I also have been selected to be a LEDA Scholar this Summer 2015!!

Hey guys! Super late to the party, but I just found this thread and totally wanted to join the cool kids :)>- I got accepted in March I think and I’m totally pumped up for this summer.
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS to everyone else who got accepted, even if it was just to the next round. You guys did awesome. Seriously. I got like major heart palpitations from just pressing submit in the first round.

@missbehaven: LEDA will be sending you a packing list by June. For miscellaneous things, just bring insect repellent. Insects were a big issue for cohort 10: spiders, centipede, and mosquitoes were present in our dorm. However, I don’t think it will be an issue for Cohort 11 because you guys are staying in a new dorm; we had to stay at Princeton’s “oldest” dorm, Witherspoon. Also, bring umbrellas; it rained during our summer institute.

Hey everyone! I’ve been creeping around for a while but decided to finally make a CC account
A couple questions:
- Has anyone here gotten a t-shirt/ packing list in the mail yet? I was stalking LEDA’s twitter and they retweeted someone who got a package this weekend but I haven’t seen anything in the mail yet.
- Has anyone gotten travel confirmation yet?
- Not sure if Forbes will be really different from last year but does anyone (past LEDA scholars maybe?) know if there is wifi connection anywhere that we would have access to during the summer? I have some random stuff I have to submit for school since school starts for me literally the Monday after I get back home D:

@tokyoatom: there is wifi everywhere. Everyone will receive a password after registering with LEDA and the university. And Forbes College is the farthest residential college from everything, so happy walking
