<p>I guess I love to surprise people when they notice I'm left-handed, I feel special, like one of a kind, since so few people I know are left-handed</p>

<p>if you write with your left hand, you're a leftie, period. it doesn't matter if you do some things with your right hand, lefties write left. </p>
<p>i love being a leftie! it's much more fun, plus you get to be creative and imaginative....and also have a shorter average lifespan by 9 years, and be at 3 x the risk of becoming an alcoholic, and get so frustrated by a corkscrew you accidentally jam it in your eye....but on the whole, it's good to be left. :)</p>
<p>I think left-handed is your dominantly left-handed, I mean I can do some things with my right hand (large motor skills) but not fine motor skills. My left hand is by far more dominant. I guess it's what hand do you write with, that really decides if you're a true lefty or stretching the truth a bit</p>
<p>I'm definitely left-handed, but which hand I'm using depends on the task. I write with my left hand and am a lefty for all sports except for tennis. I think I would have been left-handed for tennis, but the pro from whom I took my first lessons didn't understand why I kept putting the racquet in my left hand. ;)</p>
<p>haha i'm a total lefty, write, eat, sleep, think. all left handed. the reason that there are so many lefties here is becasue lefties are naturally intelligent, in my school i know of only 4 lefties and all are smart.</p>
<p>why don't we get affirmative action :(? we're only 11% of the population for crying out loud! and considering binders, notebooks with large spirals, scissors, and ping-pong tables, we have much discrimination against us.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, lefties have never united and demanded special treatment. Now maybe if we got organized, we could change the world!</p>
