does NYU not care about legacies? of course with my luck, they are the only school i have found that on their supplement, they don't ask about my legacy status....being the only school i HAVE legacy status at.

sdfsdfdlsf life is quite unfair. anyone know anything about their view on legacies?

I know that if you applied commonapp, the basic application has a section for you to add where your sibling goes/went to college. So hopefully they take legacy from there. If not, I guess both you and I are in the same boat, as NYU is also the only university my siblings have went to.

legacy helps. It’s even one of the factors listed in their admission decision. As stated above, legacy goes into the Common App.

NYU is a school where legacy helps. It isn’t as huge a factor as it is at HYP, but it still factors without a doubt. HYP/Ivies will be far more proactive about acknowledging it in the process, but as the others have said, it’s listed on the Common App so any school ought to find out where you have legacy.
