Legacy Admissions Offer An Advantage — And Not Just At Schools Like Harvard

At Columbia University, legacy status may provide a ‘slight advantage’ when similarly qualified applicants are competing. That’s also the case at the University of Virginia.

I think all schools, especially those with less than 10% acceptance rate, should be required to disclose admission data like Harvard did. Transparency is the first step towards accountability and fairness.
