<p>When you apply, the Common Application should ask you for any family/professional connections you have with the university and it will ask you to identify to what extent. </p>
<p>On campus, a lingering notion exists that AU does seek legacy students, but where this comes from I cannot confirm. Of course, you’ll want to be a well-rounded student whether or not you’re a legacy. Good luck.</p>
