Hey guys,

I know this question has been asked already, but what are the chances for a Columbia University legacy student who is applying early, like myself. I guess I should post some stats to help out.

It would be great to get info and advice from current students or alums. Thanks!

Oh and I plan to go on the Pre-Med track, major in Neuroscience, and minor in Religious Studies

Aaand SAT Subject Tests: Math 2- 800 Bio- 750

Your chances are pretty good with legacy and ED. Play up the religious aspect in your essays. Premeds are a dime a dozen.

Sweet thanks, and by “playing up the religious aspect” should I do that in both the Common App and Columbia supplement or just the supplementary essay that asks why you chose your majors?
