Hey guys,
I'm not really sure where the best place is to ask this...

I just found out that my grandfather (who recently passed away) was actually a professor's assistant at UCLA.

Is this something that may increase my chances of getting accepted?

If so, what do I need to do to make the school aware of this situation?

Thanks!

I don’t recall there being a section to put legacy information on the UC Apps let alone as a professor’s assistant.

i might be wrong, but i thought legacies were only for privates?

The different would be small anyways, UCLA is just g.p.a + Sat’s

UCs are public schools, they do not value legacy.

UC schools don’t care about legacy status
