Legacy in Early Action v Regular Decision

Both of my parent went to Georgetown and 5 uncles attended too. My grandfather was also on the board of directors for 10 years.

Some people say that Georgetown only cares about legacy in RD, and not to apply early there because it is a waste of time (and apply early elsewhere).

Others say that if I do not apply EA then I will not show maximum interest and they will disregard my family's legacy there.

Please let me know what you think !!!

You should check with Georgetown specifically. I know Penn gives a boost to ED legacy kids.

A lot of people say different things, just don’t know if there is any truth in it …
It’s also not the type of information that the University readily gives out on their website and such.
