<p>It’ll help but no one can quantify it for you.</p>
<p>Not all minorities are URMs, and not all URMs are viewed the same.</p>
<p>I just looked at your posting history, AN candidates are very rare in general and with your stats and some involvement in the AN community, even more so. I’m not sure what those folks on the Chances threads are reading 
, they’re really off base [I never venture there and now I remember why].</p>
<p>Agree w/entomom. Alaska Native is an extreme rarity – in combination w/your other achievements – it definitely trumps other URM advantages. Best of luck to you.</p>
