My grandpa went to Wharton business school along time ago. Does anyone know whether that counts as a legacy for Wharton undergrad?

Parents and grandparents are what count. Keep in mind that the legacy benefit applies mainly to ED. So we're past the deadline for this year.

I am a junior thinking of applying early next year, so hopefully this should help. Any other opinions on whether the fact that I'm a legacy to the business school will help me get into the Wharton undergrad program?

good for ya ED. and if u have the stats and/or rly wanna be there, then def apply

Yes it definitely helps. Helps even more if grandpa gave money, and more still if he is still giving.

If your last name is Huntsman, you'll be fine ;)

If you are able to visit Penn, ask him to try to set up an interview with alumni admissions. It could be helpful to you.

Yes, make sure you plan a visit and request an interview on campus. Interviews can be requested as early as June in your senior year (right after your junior year is finished) till 4 years before ED application deadline.
To use your legacy status to the maximum, show a LOT of interest.
