Say your father/mother went to grad school and got a degree in a private university. Would that qualify me as a legacy for undergrad admissions? Is there a specific universal policy/rule that governs legacy qualifications for all universities/undergrad admissions, or is it different with each school? please comment if you like:)

Each school has its own policy on what equals "legacy." If you can't find the answer on their website, contact the admissions department.
