My father went to Purdue for his Masters in a Medical field. I’m applying for CS from India but am a US citizen. Does Purdue consider legacy in admissions and how big of a role does it play?
No, according to Purdue’s Common Data Set, relationship to alumni is not considered.
This is pretty common among publicly funded/state universities where taxpayers subsidize the university.
Agreed. Alumni/ae is “Not Considered” for admission decisions.

Similarly, would having a sibling attending Purdue currently impact the decision? If nothing else, I would think that it would help to show interest and increased potential to accept an offer.
My older D is there now and I’m not counting on any special advantage for my younger D when she applies.
