<p>At <em>most</em> schools, your parents had to have gone there for their undergraduate education to count for legacy status. You will have to look up the specific schools to be sure, but by and large legacy status is only meaningful for the children of undergraduate alumni.</p>

<p>Okay, so looking at the supplement for the Weinberg College, they generically ask what college your relative(s) went to and dates, so this doesn't really provide you with an answer, but the fact that relative(s) went will surely be considered, no matter how minute a fact.</p>
