<p>Do siblings count? My interviewer (he was former president of the alumni association, and coordinator for my area) said that they do, but I've heard conflicting things. Some say yes, some say no, some say unofficially, some say a little.</p>
<p>No it doesn't make you a legacy. It shows a connection to the university (similar to doing a summer program at Princeton or something along those lines) but wont give you much of a boost, and wont lead to your application being processed differently that any other non-legacy.</p>
<p>As odd as it seems, I also was told that a sibling relationship was tantamount to having legacy status at Princeton. I don't believe it, but it is what I was told two years ago by someone close to the scene at Princeton.</p>
<p>the admissions rep from princeton told us that princeton was "very big on families" so i assume that having a brother or sister would help, but not as much as a parent</p>
