legacy is one of 10 factors considered "important." There are 3 "very important" factors (rigor of HS record, class rank, and GPA). The 10 "important" ones include scores, essay, recs, racial/ethnic status, etc. </p>
<p>So work hard on your essay and go for it!</p>
