My first cousin and uncle attended Dartmouth. How does that affect me interms of admission? Together do they equal like one of my parents? lol

I'm not sure about Dartmouth, but I know at Harvard only parents count as legacies, and even then only in Harvard College (not the grad schools).

yea, and at cornell, onlt "straight-up" relatives count like father, mother, grandfather, grandmother...

i love my new use of straight up

It is my understanding that you are considered a legacy if either parent attended. There is no additional benefit if both parents attended (no extra benefit to a "double legacy"), or if a grandparent or sibling attended. One parent puts you into the legacy pool.
