Lehigh has a great rep in NYC area, but as u move south or west the almost no one heard of it :(
UM Ross yea pretty much every one heard of it.

I really concerned how much difference its going to make if i want to do management consulting after i graduate from college, I know Lehigh has a great almni network.. and their job placement is like 99% Im sure Ross is a MBA feeder school but the cost really concerns me!!!!

please is it worth it? to pay almost 40k a year just to go for Ross, i know for the national ranking one is around 25 one is about 30-35....

and also the running budget for Lehigh is around 1.2b but they ONLY have 4,500 kids. compare to UM 25k+ total student body… ratio 9:1 for lehigh, not much TAs there. class are smaller… but facing the reality no one can ignore the prestagous of UM Ross…

I’d say go for Lehigh. If it’s true what you say about 99% job placement for Lehigh, and it’s $42,000 cheaper, it seems like Lehigh’s the right choice. I feel the 99% job placement outweighs Ross’s prestige.

It’ll save you money in case you want to go to grad school, and in today’s economic crisis, I think finance is most people’s #1 priority.

Lehigh (for the $$) and FTW…that’s a huge difference and you’d be going private v huge public…yea, I know, Ross, Ross, Ross…but not for that much diff in $$

You have the opportunity to spend $188,000 or $20,000 to apply for the same jobs four years hence. This isn’t Harvard versus Southeast North Carolina State. These are two very good undergraduate business programs. There is a negligible difference in quality. Certainly not enough difference to justify spending an additional $168,000.

Thanks guys!!! be_somebody yes its true about the job placement, mostly by big four and McKinsey, Merrill they rate 15th nationwide for the most earned undergad(i think its due to overly white overly male population)… somehow their career center is the most active one… most people graduated from there only go to NYC (70miles from NYC) UM has a much better globe and national rep vs Lehigh only known to people in Northeast area!!! but i will probly go to Lehigh, i might apply for summer at Ross (just to feel the difference if there is one I think UM seriously need to tune down some rate for oosers, not only cost of att is the highest among big public school 47k… price like this will scare most oos off (since they are really generous about loan offer!!)… But again, take look UW, UI same deal (loan offers)expect they cost about 10k less…

especially My family lived there for 2 years, and my dad was a med school professor there for 2 years we just moved in 2008 to other state I thought that might help a little in terms of money but It didn’t

Money is a huge issue, I have a sister will go to college next year… BUT I WILL NOT KEEP TRYING!!! i have a gas station located next to my house… lottary ticket is my next setp… JK :P

Thank all and still Go BULE, even tho I probly need to say Go Brown and White!!
