Lehigh class of 2016!

How many people do you think spplied this yearㅍ?

@Homies12 I read on NY Times that around 660 people applied ED this year

o0o0o0o So nervous because I didn’t prepare to apply for any other colleges other than this one o.O

Has anyone else received a suspicious call from Philadelphia university questioning about Lehigh university and various admission questions?

I applied ED, very nervous, lehigh is my top choice by far

669 applied Ed and 68% are admitted I’m so nervous legit this week will be awful

omg @ at the calling thing noo I hope that doesn’t mean I got rejected when did you get the call

I didn’t get a call either

I didn’t get a call either… and I want to know already but if I dont get in then I don’t want the time to pass too quickly, ya know? It’s nice to be hopeful that you will get things your way until it actually doesnt go that way then you just want to go back to being hopeful… I truly hope all of us on here get in! and 68% isn’t too bad, hopefully, we’re all part of that!

The 68 percent is last year sad to say

I’m pretty sure it was 58 which translates to 52 if they accept the same amount so that os only about half of us :frowning: I hope we all get in

i’m positive that the letters are sent out on the 16th. the admissions office just emailed me with that information. good luck to everyone!

can’t wait anymore…

prettyinpink it was definitely 68 percent [EARLY DECISION - The Choice Blog - NYTimes.com](early decision - The Choice Blog - The New York Times)

guys, I’m so nervous right now. eeepep
this week is moving slower than my grandmother’s molasses.

It’s official, they are mailing them on friday. Sarah, my admissions rep, posted this on the Lehigh admissions blog:

Celebrating the Holiday Season with Early Decision!
Winter can be a time of great anticipation in a high school senior’s life – half of the final year in a familiar environment is over, which is stressful in and of itself. Cold weather (for many of us) and anticipation of snow days are yet another thing to pile on top. Add to that the excitement of teams and organization awards ceremonies, winter holidays (what will the awful gift from your crazy Aunt Judy be THIS year?), and of course, the college application process? When it rains, it pours.
For some, the stress will be because many colleges – like Lehigh! – have a January 1st deadline and for others, because they’ll receive an Early Decision notice from their first choice school. The Admission staff here in Bethlehem were busy this fall, and all told, read nearly 10% more Early Decision I applications compared to last year! We started on November 15th, and currently, applicants are being passed through our Office of Financial Aid for review.

This year, we’ll be mailing all of our Early Decision I applicants their official notification on Friday, December 16th. This means that these students should have a decision in hand by Tuesday, December 20th, even as Early Decision II and Regular Decision applications arrive in hopes of joining the class of 2016.

If you’re working on applications, hang in there… we’re excited to read them!
