so since we got the email today does that mean decisions on wednesday? i know people had said email then decisions 2 days later
I assume it isnât today because they said it would take 24 hours to set up the account for those who hadnât already done it. Hopefully by Friday
i got the email but i opened my portal months ago and check all the time
one of my friends got the email in a wave after I did
Todayâs email is to make sure everyone ready for logging in portal when the time comes.
Thatâs weird how some applicants didnât get one. I also check my portal regularly and got the email around 1PM. Oh well
I think I just got a likely letterâŠnot too sure tho this is what it says:
Hi m/n,
Congratulations! You are among a small cohort of students chosen to participate in Lehighâs upcoming Diversity Life Weekend. Although âofficialâ admission decisions will be released later this month, we wanted to send you this special invitation to âsave the date.â
Virtual Diversity Life Weekend (D-Life) gives admitted high-achieving students from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to spend a weekend virtually interacting with current students, sitting in on classes, and networking with Lehigh alumni. This yearâs Diversity Life Weekend is Friday, April 9, 2021 through Monday, April 12, 2021. Space is limited, so register today!
Congratulations on your invitation, and we look forward to hosting you during D-Life. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Castro, Director of Diversity Recruitment, or Kailen Richmond, Admissions Counselor, at LUDiversity@lehigh.edu
Best regards,
Diversity and Recruitment Team
Lehigh Office of Admissions
My D got this one too, and she just registered to show her interest.
For the record, my S21 also received the same email. Hopefully this is a good indicator. It will be really awkward if he ends up getting declined
Same here! Very excited.
it says this is for admitted students so
Yes, when registering, it asked which school/major you were admitted. Now excited more than nerves.
i think it is an indicator of an acceptance; âgives admitted high-achieving students from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to spend a weekend virtually interacting with current studentsâ
iâm this rn
The invitation is definitely encouraging, but letâs stay cautiously optimistic. Strange things happen before, like sending an acceptance letter by mistake to a rejected candidate and rescind within a few hours. This is a weird year for college admission.
I am not greedy, and I only need a waitlist if not admitted.
Seems like people that got the letter should definitely sign up for that weekend - just in case its a way of confirming interest prior to actual admission.
my friend who goes to lehigh says everyone who received the email about D-life is accepted, she remembers it from previous years.
I also got the same email! Do we know if itâs a likely letter?
So everybody that gets the D-life email technically count as from âunderrepresented minorityâ group?
