Is there anyone that didn’t get the first “prepare for your admission decision” email?
yes and they are technically admitted students being invited to an admitted student event
Our D did not get that first email about checking the portal either. Seems like there are people who didn’t get it. Some on twitter too.
yes my friend who is a lehigh student says it is an indication of acceptance as we are being asked to attend an admitted student event
Thank you! I was a bit worried at first.
I guess the system glitches sometimes, completely random cases : )
Finally we can calm down and go sleep Amen!
D-life day sounds similar to MOSAIC at Vanderbilt. Invited to attend/accepted before general acceptances released. Also for URM/multicultural students.
Hopefully general decision can come out tuesday or wednesday, last year it was tuesday and in 2020 it was wednesday.
2019*
is anyone kind of weirded out by the diversity email lmao
lol I was so concerned about not getting the diversity email but then remembered I’m Arab so I have to put my race down as white
So I called admissions and they confirmed they had D’s email correct and then went on to say “I can see the email hasn’t been received”. Said not to worry and just be checking portal regularly over the next few days. That’s all the email said. Still odd. I checked D’s email account to make sure that she didn’t accidentally block emails from Lehigh but that’s not the case.
Not sure how an email “doesn’t get received”.
@/lehighadmissions on twitter just posted about a panel discussion for high school sophomores/juniors (completely unrelated to decisions) and they wrote “today’s the day!” - safe to say i think my heart stopped
yea anyone just lose their mind after checking their twitter cause i did
If they were to release decisions today, what time should we expect them?
Dinner time as many other colleges.
decisions seem to come early afternoon. Both ED and ED2 came around 1:00 est.
So if we hear nothing by 2PM, it’s safe to say that they won’t come out that day?
Never know lol, colleges can do whatever as long as they don’t make things official on paper.
