DD got into the College of Health today, I am very surprised because she applied RD.

Got Dean Scholarship, but they did not post a need-based award yet.

Their interdisciplinary programs have a 99% acceptance rate??

As I recall, these are very tough programs and Lehigh discourages applicants who are not tippy top candidates.

That’s what it says on their version of the CDS: Incoming Class Summaries | Office of Institutional Research & Strategic Analytics
Maybe these are for CAS interdisciplinary and the other ones are grouped in with the business/engineering colleges, no clue.

Talked to admissions, RD to be released next Friday March 17th.

Gosh, timing-wise, this kinda sucks (for us). I understand their desire to get the info in the hands of the students, but… my son applied for the Lehigh Launch program, and for that program, they have to give their decision 10 days after being notified. If decisions are released on the 17th, then there is a good chance he will not know whether he’s been accepted to other schools before the 10 days is up. There are a few schools he applied to that state April 1 as the decision date (and have a historical reputation suggesting they stick to that date). I guess he’ll figure it out one way or the other. Of course, all this only matters if he was a) accepted to Lehigh and b) accepted to Lehigh Launch.

I think you have the timing wrong for Lehigh Launch. I believe there is an interview process that takes place after they are notified that they are admitted to the school. I think they need to inform of their decision 10 days after they are accepted into the Launch program, which should be around late April.

Son already interviewed with Lehigh Launch. They said the decision would come out “more or less” the same time as the admission decision.

rd release is today for sure?

D23 is waiting…we’ve seen nothing official. Her dad is an alum - really hoping she gets in with a nice merit package!

A poster above contacted admissions and said it is 3/17. Regular decisions were released on 3/24 last year.

This is the last decision for my daughter and the one she most wants. Unfortunately, she’s going the need merit, and the early decisions lead me to think that won’t happen. Fingers crossed
