I have been accepted by Lehigh University and Virginia Tech and i am planning to study chemical engineering. Which University do you think is better for that major? I know Vtech has a bigger reputation for engineering, but what about Lehigh? What do you suggest me?

I still think VaTech would be the choice. You cant judge a school on a bad incident. Penn State for example had a shooting at the HUB a few years back, but that doesnt mean it's way more dangerous now.

I didn't understand that. What is meant with bad taste?
And furthermore I didn't know what had happened by that time. Of course I am really sorry and wasn't trying to make fun of it, or i don't what you tried to say with bad taste.

well if you go to vtech youll be with 80% virginians and it's in the middle of nowhere in the south, where the weather is warm...obviously.

if you go to lehigh, you'll go to a private school with a mix of people (still will be mostly white) where there's heavy partying and a large frat scene and a hogwarts-type esque to the campus. it's about an hour away from the NYC. maybe a bit longer. and weather will be obviously colder.
