<p>What's the music scene like at and near Lehigh? Are there good places to hear live music or is it mostly on weekends in phili & NYC? Basically I'm trying to research different things to do around Lehigh that arent frat parties. Clubs, billiards, music, independant movie theatres.</p>

<p>recently they had a 'battle of the bands' for local music, and soon there is going to be a yellowcard/mae concert nearby.</p>
<p>Talib Kweli will be at their spring music festival, Sundaze.</p>
<p>I don't know if there are billiards tables in the dorms or anything, but I know there is a place called "American Billiards" in Quakertown. They have a snooker table too, if you'd be interested in that. I'm so excited to be attending Lehigh!</p>

<p>the town around it was crappy IMO. I dont like the whole "old/historic" vibe the city tried to pass off for just being too cheap to upgrade everything.
There are a few bars and restuarants here and there, but besides a college in the middle of nowhere...you'll find more at most universities.</p>
