Lehigh RD Class of 2023

I know this is a bit early but I haven’t seen a discussion up for RD yet… good luck everyone!!

yay! Deferred from UPenn and applying to lehigh RD. Where else are you guys applying?

Applying to Lehigh RD!!! Good luck everybody!

Replied to Lehigh RD

Just applied today!

does anyone know when decisions typically come out

In the website says late March. Last year it came out on Mar. 23

ah okay thank you so much!

I applied today! So far into Tulane, UGA, U of Denver, and MOhio. Also applying to Northeastern, UMiami, and CU Boulder.

My son applied RD to Lehigh. We’ve logged into the portal but never have seen a clickable link to show our received documentation and scores. Then we received an email that his application was incomplete. We have a red error message on the right side of admissions portal screen that says something about a missing widget (we are using safari on a mac). He emailed admissions to see what he was doing wrong and if he could find out why his portal didn’t work but he didn’t get a response. Now he’s gotten a 2nd email about an incomplete app. Has anyone else had this issue? There is a section that says “admission checklist” but nothing to click on. Any help?

I know that Lehigh requires supplemental financial aid documentation that you upload to their website. Could this be it?
I don’t have access to the portal, but my S also said his application was incomplete- the only part he didn’t complete was this financial aid piece.

@abbeany I’ve applied to Lehigh RD too and I think he might be missing the writing supplement or something of the kind?
Because when I had applied I received the link to my portal a day or so later and it opened well with the checklist working just fine.

I hope the problem whatever it was has been sorted and good luck!

My checklist worked immediately

I have an interview Wednesday. Has anyone had an interview with Lehigh yet? What should I expect? Any tips?

My daughter’s Lehigh interview was the most formal she had. It was with an admissions officer who travelled to our region. She dressed up. The interviewer was also very professionally dressed (suit, no tie). She was asked questions about what made her choose her major and how she would describe her major to a small child. Be prepared to talk about your ECs and how they relate to what you want to study. It lasted about 30 minutes and she thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great thank you! If anyone else has tips please let me know!

Did you request the interview or were you asked to have an interview?

When I signed up to do a campus tour there was also an option to sign up for an interview. They are only available on campus.

@gsbc12 I had an interview a little while ago, and it was by far my best interview. Just be yourself and don’t stick to your resume too much. I even brought my resume and the rep didn’t want to see it because she wanted to get to know me without it. Just be genuine, and have clear reasons why you want to go to Lehigh and why you want to study a certain major. Also, know which EC’s you want to emphasize the most and don’t dwell on little things you aren’t passionate about. Good luck!

@gsbc12 Not really relevant to you right now, but they are not just on campus by the way! I had mine when an admissions representative travelled to my city.
