Good recs
Feels really nice since I’d been rejected a few times before today. And no matter the decision, always remember that you’ll bloom wherever you’re planted!
In my financial aid package, there was only need based aid at the moment. I’m not sure if that means I did not get merit aid, or if merit aid has not yet been released (although I am not expecting to get any)
I was really hoping for merit aid but it seems like no one got any. I will email my counselor and ask about it.
Accepted into engineering (sadly not CSB program :’( That was a really big seller for me as a compsci lover)
SAT 1520 ACT 35 Math 2 800
visited many times, interviewed on campus, and sat in on classes.
Only saw need-based financial aid, no merit in my award letter.
Hope this helps!
Congrats to everyone who got in! Son waitlisted earlier today. Visited but didn’t interview. 1450 SAT/4.0 Uw.

Financial Aid really surprised me, I didn’t think we were gonna get much since other schools gave nothing need based, but our EFC was 34k and COA for Lehigh with need based aid brought it to 27k w only 5.5 k in loans
DS accepted into engineering.
Accepted!! (Engineering)

GoodEC
Strong Lehigh essay/visited and interviewed
@JerseyGirl789 @vickyvic1 @collegemom1111112 @kidz2college this is ridiculous. my son is also considered a legacy. went to a legacy weekend + 2 other visits + college fairs and contact with counselor. High stats, etc. from nj so maybe just too many applicants from this area. maybe assuming not really interested in attending and just applying “locally” or as “safety”. thats too bad my son was genuinely interested. i guess high stats, hard work, legacy and demonstrated interest and paying full price is not enough. haha!
waitlisted with 1550 SAT, 800 on Math II for integrated business and engineering. interned at a technology manufacturing corporation for two years, many APs, 4.0 uw. Kind of confused
got waitlisted, 29 act, 98 toefl as an international student, uw gpa 3.7, strong essays and EC.
seems like many people got waitlisted, what are the chance getting in

What should I do?
Is anybody else also facing the same problem as mine?
Does anyone know if Lehigh sends snail mail letters or packages? My S applied back in the fall. Got the confirmation through common app they got his submission. His portal never reflected his documents or grades. He emailed to ask what was going on. No response. It never worked and now when we try and recreate his account or login they don’t recognize him as an applicant even though he got an email last night that his decision was in his portal. He applied on a whim, never visited and honestly it would be a HUGE reach for him to get in anyway. He is not interested in going there but I’m curious to see if he really does have a decision. We don’t want to call the admissions office bc it’s kind of embarrassing that he never pursued the portal issue. Hoping for a snail mail. Anyone know?
Son was also waitlisted for engineering. He won’t be taking a spot on the waitlist.
Stats: 4.2 GPA, 1430 SAT (800 math), 3 sport varsity athlete, Eagle Scout, rigorous classes. 1 official campus visit.
Good luck to everyone either at Lehigh or wherever their futures take them!
@2019gradsmom my son was also waitlisted for engineering. 1520 SAT (790) math, Eagle Scout, varsity swimmer, academic team, national honors society, 1 official visit, letter of recommendation from a member of the engineering advisory board, and weighted GPA 5.28. He was accepted into every other school he applied to. It is the closest school to us geographically but I don’t think he will wait around to see what happens.
Our son also waitlisted. 1530 SAT (800 math), 800 math/760 physics SAT II, all 5s on AP tests, 4.4 GPA. 3 year varsity crew. Visited Lehigh twice with recruiting interest. He also won’t be taking a spot on the waitlist.
Good luck everyone. It has been an “interesting” ride.
Got into the Integrated Business and Engineering program! I have 4.1W GPA and 1500 SAT and 800 on both Chem and Math 2c. It seems like I did not even have good enough stats to get into the honors program. However, I did show a great interest in Lehigh in my supplementals and one of my recommenders is an alumni. I hope everyone who got in makes a wise choice and thos of whom go the school that deserves you! As for me, I mah not be able to attend due to not getting enough money:( my EFC was like 10K and Lehigh is making me pay 20 wo the loans. Btw, does anyone know about their merit scholarship?
