@gsbc12 That is not true. We’re OOS but she completed tour but didn’t have time in schedule to interview onsite . She requested an interview and had a skype interview with her AO a few weeks later. Interviews are evaluative for those that choose have one. I didn’t see on the website that it’s encouraged for demonstrated interest like a smaller LAC has so it doesn’t hurt you if you don’t have one…
hey all. I’m a RD applicant too. A little worried about my RD apps as it sounds like schools are offering a lot of spots to ED/EA applicants. March cant come quick enough. I am so ready to have this process done!

Lehigh was probably my most formal interview and I interviewed with MIT, Cornell, UPenn…it seems most schools are transitioning more toward a “conversation” style interview however I believe Lehigh’s still felt like a traditional interview. Nothing wrong with that, I enjoyed my interview and got to share my passion for the school. If you can, definitely try to get an interview!
@DollyParton the interview is to be requested by you and no by no means does that mean you won’t be accepted. (The interview isn’t a requirement). I didn’t do one either.
Lehigh does not require interviews. On the website it details that interviews are for if you feel you need to meet for specific questions or you feel you need to provide context for the info in your application. Not doing an interview will not hurt your chances of acceptance.
@gherbss my guess is March 22- the fourth Friday of the month. This is consistent with the last two years. But I do think they let a small group of URMs know earlier in the month for a Diversity weekend they have.
Hi nice to meet you. Just wanted to know how lenient Lehigh is to International SAT scores. I applied RD, everything seems good, Awesome Recs, diverse extracurriculars, good grades and a very high GPA but my SAT score is very low. It’s in the bottom 25%. This is actually my first time taking the SAT exam.
@JovialIntrovert my case is sort of the same. I’m not sure… All I know is that they won’t judge you on the basis of your SAT score only so don’t worry too much about it. You’ve done your best! Good luck!
