Lehigh Transfer, Fall of 2012

Aw, Thanks both of you. I definitely see what you are saying. Good luck with all the financial aid stuff!

ok, i guess since i live in cali, i still havent got the package… just can’t wait!!! umm, when is the deposit due? anyone?..

thank you, halo92 and best of luck to you!

to eugenekims: the deposit ($500) is due June 1st. i’m sure you’ll get the package by next week! Financial aid is supposed to be posted on the portal though, from what I heard, but I can’t see it on mine. If this is the case for you too then I would contact financial aid because they can tell you.

thank you jennifer44… ok i just got my package and the deposit due date, June 1st is crossed out and they wrote May 15th on the side. However, I really need more time to decide. Is it possible to extend the due date? Help me please…

Eugenekims, I recommend that you contact Lehigh directly to ask about an extension. As much as we are all trying to help on CC, we are not the decision makers in this case. Good luck!

So what were your aid packages like if you guys don’t mind me asking?

I would appreciate it, if others would post their financial aid package so we can compare transfer packages. Mine was posted on the portal (federal loans & ws only, no grants)

i figured out how to view it on the portal, thanks Ashleyrl! i’m not sure what the case is with financial aid but I plan to call Wednesday and see if they have a better idea of whether or not transfers can be provided Lehigh grants. I spoke to my guidance counselor and he agreed with me in how Lehigh should have those unused financial aid packages and that normally, they are used for transfer students. Let’s hope so.

Still waiting to hear back on aid because i was late on some of the documents needed. I’ll let you guys know my situation when i find out. I’m really hoping to get some help because 42k a year is alot of money and i don’t think i can afford it without some help.

just so you know, that’s just for tuition. If you include everything else (housing/meal plans), the cost of attendance is actually $53,450 but if you add books they said it’s $55,670.
