Lehigh Transfers Fall 2013 Thread

Just logged onto my portal; I’ve been accepted as a ME major! My apologies to looch2012 and anyone else who may not have gotten in; that’s really unfortunate (and in your case, quite surprising).

I believe your decision will appear on the Lehigh Portal.

Hey guys I got in  (finance major)

I don’t know where I will go though…I have also been accepted to UNC - Chapel Hill and Vanderbilt

@looch2012 wow that’s very surprising. My stats are not that high. Oh and I had applied to Cornell (AEM) but got rejected  still waiting on Northwestern & Emory though.

congrats guys! I’m still waiting on cornell so I’m hoping for the best…or I’ll just go to Lafayette and be your rival :)

I was rejected too! I did not have amazing grades (3.6 gpa at a NY state school) but still thought I would get in considering not too many people apply to Lehigh to transfer. Either way, not upset at all since I was not truly planning on going even if accepted. However, it’s an beautiful and excellent school, congrats to those accepted!

@looch2012 - Wow I’m surprised you were rejected and sorry to hear that. I’m also still waiting for Cornell and hoping for the best for both us!

ACCEPTED!! :)

Looch I don’t even want to tell you my stats because they aren’t nearly impressive as yours. But I will anyway :p

Junior year transfer
Didn’t send SAT’s

Sorry to hear 328xi07 - I appreciated yours guys company during the wait

Congratz accepted peoples!

can’t wait for financial aid info!

Thanks well congratulations to you guys and everything will work out in the end

Same to you and congrats. This site definitely eased the tensions of transferring

Just checked the portal and I got in to the college of arts and sciences as an IR major
I’m still deciding between Lehigh and Bucknell and I’m having a really hard time deciding which school is better. I’m leaning towards Lehigh for a few reasons, but I always had it in my head that Bucknell had better name recognition, but that might just be me. Any thoughts?

Hey everyone,
I just found out today that I’ve been accepted into Lehigh COE as a Computer Science Major! I am very excited!
I am coming from a community college in NJ.
I am only waiting to hear from Cornell now, like many of you.
Good luck to all!

hey illedraiccir I’ve been accepted as a computer science major too but into the college of arts and sciences

I’m from a nj community college. You don’t happen to be from rvcc?

Congrats idk
and no I am not, I am from OCC

I made it! (new here but I’ve been reading the whole time.)

EE major- probably the only female.

So excited! It was my 1st choice without a doubt.

Congrats! I knew there were people holding out posting lol. I’m too excited to refrain.

Now when you say EE do you mean electric or environmental?

Got in as an Econ major to the college of arts and sciences:) Actually thought I applied to the business school so that was kind of a bummer that I realized I didn’t but still happy about the decision. Applied from State School with a 3.7 and didn’t have great high school statistics. Stayed in contact with admissions throughout, had some pretty good extracurriculars but not excellent, and made sure to send updates. Good luck guys

does it really matter about what major you get in? I think it is pretty easy to change major in lehigh

@lexune

Well that would be great. I’ll definitely look into that, thanks lexuner

Has anyone received mail regarding admissions information?
