Could anyone give the measurement of the under bed space (when the mattress is in the highest position)?
Trying to determine the best storage bin to buy to maximize space. Also any insight to the closet, dresser and desk would be appreciated. Does the furniture vary by dorm building?

Layouts and furniture for rooms vary by dorm. Best bet is to check out the room layouts accessible via Lehigh website (need your sign-in to access floor and room layouts by building). I do recall that my son’s bed had plenty of room under the bed even without using risers.

I thought Bed, Bath and Beyond had a really nice list of things college students might need. Also, if you live far away you can buy the items at your local Bed, Bath and Beyond and the items will be waiting for you at the Bethlehem store. We always bought a large rug at some discount store and then we would just throw it away at the end of the year! The first year we took a floor lamp but he didn’t have room for it.
I got most of my stuff from Bed, Bath and Beyond, so did a lot of other students here. Also, depending on your building, the closet/bed situation varies. If you live in either M&M or the cents, then you have an open wardrobe with drawers and a rod for hangers. If you live in Dravo or Richards, then you will have a walk in closet with drawers, racks, and a rod.
