I am really looking into Lehigh and I am considering ED. Chance me please and thank you?
Unfortunately, the odds wouldn’t be good with the current SAT score, even with ED.
Lehigh has posted a table showing acceptance rates by SAT range for the Class of 2020. For applicants with SATs in the 1100-1190 range, only 172 out of 1,358 were admitted, which is an acceptance rate of only 12.7%. It is likely that many of the successful applicants in this category were recruited athletes.
And it may get even worse, because those numbers are for the “old” SAT, while the posted score is from the “new” SAT. According to College Board, a new SAT score of 1100 equates to an old SAT of 1020. So in the Lehigh table, a new SAT score of 1100 might actually belong in the old “Below 1100” category. Lehigh only admitted 67 out of 837 applicants in this category, which is an acceptance rate of just 8.0%. Again, it is likely that many of the successful applicants in this category were athletes.
