Lehigh University sends acceptance emails in error

Lehigh University accidentally sent an email meant for accepted students to all Early Decision applicants, even those who were rejected, the school said.

Not a good look for Lehigh! Very careless.

My son told me about this today. Very disappointing. I think they need more staff in admissions! I know they lost one counselor through this recruiting season. Apparently at least one kid withdrew his apps from other schools.

It seems like this happens every year… not with Lehigh per se but some school. How horrible.

@1stTimeThruMom I was looking through the admissions counselors the other day, and many/most of them look new to me (I’ve had two kids go through Lehigh in the past few years). Turnover in many Lehigh admin positions is troubling and portends larger issues. I believe the “Path to Prominence” initiative is wreaking havoc on the status quo, and not in a good way.
