I know that no one will be able to give opinions on all of them. please compare the whole college experience. And I will most likely be majoring in civil, mechanical, or chemical if that helps at all.

Are you comparing all of these schools to Penn? Because if Penn isn’t a factor in this, I’m not sure why you’re posting in Penn’s threads…

If you are taking Penn into account, then the most obvious thing for comparison is location. I don’t know much of anything about Villanova or Delaware, but I know that Lehigh is near Bethlehem, which is a small but apparently bustling town, and it’s also 15 minutes from DeSales University (more college people to hang out with). I’ve been to Bucknell and while the campus is large and beautiful, it’s basically in the middle of nowhere. There’s the college, and the town surrounding it, and then nothing for miles. Not as bad as Penn State, but pretty isolated. Maryland is kind of the same way but there are some other towns closer to the campus and it’s only 45 minutes from Baltimore.

Penn, on the other hand, is smack dab in the middle of Philadelphia, which in my opinion is one of the coolest cities on the East Coast. It’s literally across the street from Drexel’s main campus and there are TONS of really cool restaurants and stores and you name it within walking distance. People think West Philadelphia is a bad neighborhood because of the Fresh Prince theme song, but Penn’s not really in West Philly. It’s in University City, which is entirely its own district and very distinct from the rest of Philadelphia. You can walk on campus at ridiculous hours of the night without worrying (I have, don’t worry), and security is awesome.

As for engineering, I’m still in high school, but I stayed overnight at Penn and shadowed a few classes and the overall experience was awesome. Engineering seems to be a pretty big deal there and as an engineering student, you have access to a bunch of shops and labs with really cool equipment. For example, my hostess and I walked into a lab at 11:00 at night and used the laser cutter for fun.
Hope that helped!
