NYU (accepted) or Lehigh (awaiting decision) for pre-med?

Thanks!

Depends on what you value in a college.
Diversity-NYU
Campus feel-Lehigh
Sports-Lehigh
etc...

Thanks, a lot for posting this thread. I was wondering which is the better of the two also because I received a likely letter for Lehigh and I'm awaiting my decision from NYU, and I was just wondering the pros and cons of bother that I am unaware of.

Yeah, thanks...I'm also deciding between the two schools (accepted at NYU and awaiting decision at Lehigh). Anyone?

if i didnt receive a likely letter, does it mean i am absolutely out?

It sounded like the likely letters were for Diversity weekend. Maybe it is not applicable.

My d also applied to NYU and Lehigh. I thought it was weird, since I could see no similarity, but it sounds like you all do??

People who go by rankings see similarity. Both are top 30ish schools. Both schools are similar in selectivity as well. Just my guess.

honestly, i think NYU and Lehigh are VERY different. You need to decide what kind of atmosphere/campus you want because both schools are very good.

I picked NYU.

I agree, maybe academically and 'ranking' wise Lehigh and N.Y.U are similar but I don't think they could be more different. You need to visit both schools, if you haven't already, and REALLY decide what you want in a school. Lehigh is very rural ,with a beautiful campus, but that is it!N.Y.U is the city, need I say more? My D is At Lehigh, she did NOT want a city or so she thought.....Think about what is important to you, and maybe what you are used to where you live now.
