I recently got off lehigh's waitlist and sent in the deposit
and i deposited to rutger's university long ago.

i received no financial aid at all from lehigh

im majoring in accounting and thinking about doing premed along with it.

rutgers w/ room and board is around 24k

while lehigh is 48k

is it worth the extra money?

So it’s obvious that you believe that Lehigh is more respectable than Rutgers since you are still considering Lehigh despite its high tuition cost and lack of financial aid. But you should know that if you’re majoring in Accounting, the school is irrelevant in terms of education since both school is AACSB accredited it doesn’t matter what school you attend since the State Boards of Accountancy mandate the curriculum. So 90% or more of the courses taken will be the same including the books. Futher, the pay is pretty much set for starting accountants. What you should really consider is the location of the school because firms tend to recruit from their local schools, and Rutgers is pretty close to NY and it is a fact that big fours do recruit from Rutgers all the time.

i have nothing against rutgers

its just that lehigh is ranked higher.

but the location argument you mentioned is true.
