Is lehigh a good school for math and will it prepare you well for med school thanks?

Lehigh is a top research university with many good programs. While I’m not too familiar with their math program, I’m sure it’s fine.

You can read all about it here: [Undergraduate Programs](http://cas.lehigh.edu/CASWeb/default.aspx?id=1298)

I’m also sure it will prepare you just fine if you choose to go to medical school.

thanks. anyone else have experience with it?

lehigh, has way more male then female students and is frat heavy.
school is very very very good, it is on the social side I would be concerned. if you have no issue with the male/female ratio or greek life…by all means put it on your list!

^ That isn’t surprising for a school whose strongest areas include engineering, earth science, and finance; all of which tend to be male dominated. Besides, the M:F ratio at Lehigh is far better than at some other peers also noted for engineering/finance.

The ratio really isn’t bad at all. It’s like 56:44 or something close to that which is hardly noticeable in a school with 5,000 kids. That’s nothing compared to the engineering schools that are closer to 70:30.

However, after visiting I do agree with zobroward that it is very frat heavy and there is tons of greek life. If you’re not into that then Lehigh might not be the best fit.
