<p>So I wrote my common app essay and I chose my own topic for it. However, my essay is a little over 1,000 words. The thing is that I can't edit my down since I'm talking about everything I have learned from the places I have lived and if I cut it down it wont have as much detail. I want the colleges to know that I bring diversity by having have experienced so many things so I dont want to focus on one place only.
Do you think this is okay?
