<p>I was recently caught with marijuana at my high school. It wasnt on me but it was in my car along with a pipe. I got suspended for the rest of the year (for a total of 17 days). For the sake of closure, I am curious how this will effect my applications.</p>
<p>I am currently a 3.6 Junior, I got a 27 on my ACT and I have a very rigorous schedule that I plan on keeping that way next year. I am active in sports, I am volunteering alot this summer and have other extra curriculars in my past high school years. I also enrolled myself in a Drug Education class as well as Counseling this summer. Im remorseful for what I have done, and simply put I made a very bad mistake that I want to move forward from in a positive light. I have not had any other offenses on my record (other than one saturday school). </p>
<p>Im going to be honest on my application and Im hoping this suspension does not set me back too far.</p>
