<p>I submitted my common app about 3 weeks ago and now I'm having some serious doubts....</p>
<p>For one, I put an essay in the Additional Info section, unaware that it is a no-no to do so, and now realize that there are SO MANY other things I probably should have put there. My guidance counselor did not point this out to me because she is not familiar with these "rules" either. I'm from Canada so I'm not THAT international, but I was wondering if mistakes like this will seriously hurt an international student's chances. Or will colleges (ivies) overlook stuff like this? Should I quickly send them something via email/snail mail explaining this and attach my "real" additional info?</p>
