<p>How do you guys think about this netbook. It comes with 512mb,80GB and 1GB, 160GB. The prince difference is arround $50 (a little more than $300 vs $350) The thing is I already have a notebook (15.4'' 6.2lbs), is it gonna be wasting money to buy a netbook? I will be commuting next year from Oakland to school. If I buy, should I get the 512mb or the 1GB? I am a poor student....... I don't take note using my computer, but it's definitely useful for browsing assignments / powerpoint on campus, which I always do.</p>
<p>Don’t get too set on a certain model yet. Wait until next year to buy one as technology gets cheaper with time.</p>

<p>I also have a heavy 15.4 and the netbook’s come in really handy. (get XP or windows 7 on it)
and don’t forget to check out the battery life</p>
<p>15.4’’ laptops aren’t heavy, but my advice if you want a cheap laptop is to just wait until Windows 7 comes out; then all the existing laptops with Vista on them will become super cheap.</p>

<p>Depends. netbook doesn’t have that much capabilities other than websurfing and word processing. and other simple tasks. as for now.</p>
