^ Don’t forget to factor in repair costs for broken LCD screens and failed hard drives.

Which Thinkpad are you thinking about? Post the stats on the forum

I’ve used a Lenovo Thinkpad at work for the last 2.5 years. They replaced the hard drive a couple of months ago.

I had another for 3 years at my previous job. They’ve been slightly more reliable than the Dells or HP laptops I’ve used.

You see… Lenovo(Thinkpad) USED to be great laptops when IBM owned it years ago. Their design of these laptops were absolutely bulletproof. It has since been bought out by a Chinese company and the quality is almost as bad as Acer laptops. I would suggest you just buy a macbook pro for a couple hundred more since now you can run Windows on it also. I dropped my Macbook from 2 flights of stairs last month and it doesn’t have a scratch on it.

Lenovo Thinkpads are still one of the better made laptops today, regardless if the quality has digressed a little. But since the OP has never used an IBM Thinkpad before (I’m assuming), OP won’t know the difference.

Btw, I can drop my Thinkpad from 2 flights of stairs, and it’ll still live too ;D
