Less Conventional Summer "Programs"

<p>Are you doing something this summer less conventional than attending a program or enrolling in a college-level course? Or maybe you are doing those things and want to share what you're doing? :^D I'm all ears!</p>

<p>Having been rejected from just about every program I applied for, I decided to try for something less ordinary (since clearly I failed tradition, lol). Now I am going to spend my summer out of the country interning at a design firm, which I'm pretty excited about, since I'm into art. Plus, I'll get to spend more time with some of my family who lives in this country. So in the end I guess things are turning out pretty well!</p>

<p>Damn, I spent a month looking for a design internship and never once thought of looking for one in another country. Stupid US companies never hiring high schoolers :/</p>

<p>Haha, actually the company I’ll be interning at is American - the branch is just one of their international offices. But you’ve probably found something awesome to do (:</p>
