<p>To save money, I'm thinking of going to TCC(Tarrant County College) for my basics and maybe associates degree. I can live at home, or get a cheap apartment with some friends that are also going, and work...ect.Then try to transfer into UT and finish off my 4 year or maybe even continue, but I don't know if a company will look down on that degree or if it will be the same thing.</p>

<p>You should think about just going to UT austin if you can, some credits might not transfer, and if you do go into business you can probably pay off your financial loans (you will for sure if you get an MBA)</p>
<p>At the moment, I don’t have a chance of getting into UT with my GPA, not to mention mccombs.</p>
<p>Getting into UT is not about your GPA. It’s about your class rank.</p>
<p>Starting out at an inexpensive local CC and transferring into UT later sounds like a great idea if you want a UT degree.</p>
<p>^That seems to be the plan at the moment. Also, isn’t class rank based off of your GPA? So it wouldn’t really help me. I took my accuplacer and I did decent.</p>
