If I decided to drop a course and receive a W in that particular course, I will be left with being enrolled in 7 units. Will that be bad if I am planning to apply for Fall 2010? I currently have 47 semester units, and I will be able to take more courses during the Spring semester to exceed 60 units.

Also, if I received a C- during a semester of high school in Spanish 1, will I have to take a foreign language course in college?

Thank you.

no it wont be bad if you get your 60 units by the deadline

you need atleast 2 years of foreign language in high school, so if you only took spanish one then you would have to take more. a C is passing though. check out assist or something.

If I drop the 5 semester unit course and end up with 7 units for this Fall’s semester, will that be bad?

I actually took Spanish 1, 2, and 3. Would that qualify for the foreign language requirement? I received a C- and not a C in Spanish 1 for the first semester. As for Spanish 2 and 3, they were higher than a C. When we do our UC applications, do they ask us to include the grade we received in our foreign language courses in high school?

I am in need of advice for this situation. If you have any suggestions, please comment.

Thanks!

The real bummer is that if you go below 12 semester units and received F.A you need to return that money
