Less than 2 days...

It is so, so close. I've checked that everything is working and planned it out. I will hear 5 decisions a few seconds after 5PM and be either very happy or not at all. It isn't the prospects of being rejected that makes me so very anxious, it's the friggin 4 month wait. I mean really, why don't they have some way for you to find out in a shorter amount of time, say a month? And so you could know before your second semester even started... That would be great.

srsly.

I think the worst bit will be the moment when we click the decision link or open the email. That millisecond is the toughest. Before it, it's all up in the air, but after it, everything is set in stone.

Maybe my head will explode

Mine will.
Seriously.
That nanosecond is going to be the biggest rush of emotion in the history of rushing emotions. Nothing else is comparable.

when you watch the second when the page is loading and the page is still cycling, it will be sooooo painful

lol, ucfilm. I hate when that happens. I had to call in for my ED decision last year, so I set my alarm clock for 6:30am (pacific time) and called admissions. The woman on the phone asked for some info and then told me, "Congratulations. We are pleased to... (at this point I stopped listening to what she was saying) .. class of 2010." Then I muttered, "Thank you," and hung up.

So for days after that, whenever I read any part of my social security number aloud, I got major jitters. I also started to freak out about whether the part I missed actually said I got deferred (I hate those rejection letters that start out nice/innocuous and you have to read it again to find out that you didn't make it.)

So, here are some CC quotes I remember from last year around decisions... I wish I knew who to credit...

swears SOMEHOW I convinced myself today was Friday and got all set to dial...then I remembered--whoa, it's Thursday. shoots self

lol it's okay while i was thinking about possibly getting my letter today, i went straight home, drove directly past my little brothers school, totally forgot about him, and picked him up a half hour later when my mom called and was like ***?

Hahaha those are really funny quotes. And an awesome story. I can imagine how nerve-wracking that phone call must have been.

less than a Day. I have a lot of serious ***** (lol it edits out sh ! t, with the !) going down right now, tons of things that I really need to do/resolve and I don't care about them one bit. Almost there...... AHHHHHHHHHHHH
