Heyyy all freshmen...are you guys getting excited??

I'm kinda nervous. How about you?

I'm not nervous in the least.
I am very excited.

I'm excited for all of you !! My son is already down at Emory, working on various things for orientation. He is also involved in one of the FAME groups, which was one of his favorite things from his freshman year. He made life-long friends with some students in his FAME group, and still seeks advice from his FAME advisor sometimes, even though he is in a far different major.

My adivce--have fun and try everything, especially things you haven't done before or things that you think are not "you"--because you might be pleasantly surprised!

Oh man you guys are going to have so much fun. The first few weeks of college are ridiculous, and Emory definitely makes you feel comfortable with lots of things going on all the time.

hey copper, i was just wondering, what does every do on the nights of orientation week? like do they just go to the campus sponsored events then back to the dorms or does every1 go out after that too?

No, you go out and party, for the most part. Even though frats aren't supposed to let in freshmen the first two weeks or so, they do. I went to bars, clubs, and frats my first week, or I just hung out in freshman rooms.

Gosh, I am so nervous about Saturday. I'm excited like you all, but also nervous. Btw, can you believe that I have two roomates?
