How does this look to colleges? I know my gpa is low and my extra credits are not much to speak for. I’m applying to highly ranked LAC’s like Oberon, Kenyon, skidmore, and Wesleyan. Also uvula, and art schools like road and mica. Please answer, I need help!
Everyone one here lists a million ec’s and has a 4.0… I’m worried
Umm… why are you lying about your stats. New SAT scores haven’t been released yet; therefore, it’s impossible for you to have a “1310” on the “new sat” as they aren’t released until mid may. If you’re basing that score off your PSAT score… you need to realise that most people score less on the actual exam than that of the PSAT. As for any type of chances your gpa is also really low for some of these schools, however, granted your ec’s are decent I’d say most of the schools you’ve listed are low match/mid reach. Also, “Everyone on here lists a million ec’s and has a 4.0… I’m worried”, try not to worry about everyone else while admissions is technically a competition it’s also in your control to determine your competitiveness. No college wants the kid who does things a mile long and an inch deep… they want passion and they want someone who will benefit their campus not merely attend and be a body at 10-12 club meetings.
@PsychicPanda2
She is just predicting her score, she isn’t trying to lie. There is no point to that. Also, people actually tend to improve between the PSAT and the actual SAT.
Enlighten me when saying “1310” on the SAT gives any allusion to the fact it’s a prediction rather than the OP providing a direct objective piece to her resume. I don’t understand how we can assume she is “predicting” her score. Also, people tend to not improve their PSAT to SAT as why their score goes up their percentile goes down. For example, a 210 PSAT last year was 99.2 %, however, on the real exam it would only be 97% which means that PSAT scores have an inflated percentile. Furthermore, there are thousands of threads on here of people lying about their stats lol.
