I noticed literally just now that they advise all applicants to take three SAT II's. I'm going ED, so I have no time to take another, nor do I have another one I would like to take. I only took two, but I have two 800's (Chem and Math II). Is the lack of a third score going to be detrimental to my application?

AH I have never seen another bd fan on CC before! whadduupp
But more importantly I want to know this too, even though I am applying RD. I just really don’t want to take anymore SATs of any sort.

They recommend, but do not seem to require, three Subject Tests.
There have been numerous CC threads on this question, and the collective wisdom seems to be that you can apply with fewer than three. In the OP’s case, with two 800s and an ED application, I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

General consensus has been that it can definitely help you, but not necessarily hurt you by not having them. Having bad SAT II scores could be worse than having none. Having two 800’s is just fine, I’m sure.

I’m applying ED without any, if that helps. xD

Thanks for the responses, guys. And to bobdylan4444 - keep on rockin’.

Not having any SATs at all will give others who have them (and do well) an advantage so in a sense, it does hurt not to have them.

However, having 2 should be fine. I only took Math 2 and USH when I applied.
