Wow…all I can say is congratulations. You worked harder than anybody I’ve ever seen and now you get to truly benefit from the reward.
Even if your parents aren’t…I’m proud of you! More important…be proud of yourself! This is a great achievement.
The reward for your hard work…more hard work. But you are up to it!
Enjoy your college years. You have a great life ahead of you.
amazing story…simply amazing
I was rejected from Princeton, and all I can say is that you deserve it much, much more than I did. I am SO happy for you, and wish you the very best of luck. Something tells me you won’t need it though :).
looking at your writing skills, it is no wonder princeton accepted you.
congrats
You are living proof that what you get out of life is what you put into it. Congratulations on all of your achievements.
Same sentiments as voilaJ. I was rejected from Princeton as well, with “higher” stats, fwiw. But you definitely deserve that acceptance much more than I do. I can’t imagine working as hard as you have outside of school and still excelling in academics. Good luck at Princeton; enjoy your time there!
I will caution you; it will definitely be a lot more academically intense. You will have to work hard…but it appears you are no stranger to such a thing. Anyways, congrats!
I was so moved I was sorry to see the post end! Congratulations a million times over!
Congratulations - you really, truly deserve it.
Yeah, congrats man. Awesome Post.
Congratulations. That is a truly amazing journey; I am certain the rest of your life will be as successful as well!
Congratulations, you deserve all of your success. I hope to meet you at Princeton this fall.
congrats that was very emotionally appealing.
also, it’s sad to see that some parents don’t care, but hey, what really matters is that you care; it’s your life ~ don’t let them discourage you from succeeding
good job
Wow. Congratulations. That’s really a great story - I don’t even know you and I’m extremely proud of you. You’re going places, have a great time at Princeton!
Congratulations, FortunaHope; you’re clearly someone special–your story really proves that elite colleges mean what they say when they tell students that they look for kids who excel in the the context of their school or circumstances.
And to violaJ and sumzup, the two students who were not accepted at Princeton and who nonetheless offered congrats to FortunaHope, and even called her more deserving than they: you are truly remarkable; whatever college landed you guys got some REAL gems!
Congratulations, wow, great story. Can you share with us your essays. They must be very interesting.
Wow Congratulations and thanks for sharing your story! Good luck to ya!
Princeton deserves you. That was such a great post. Good luck in college.
